Checking in, checking out & everything in between.

When dropping off your pet for the first time, please plan to spend a few minutes completing the required paperwork. We also ask that you take note of the following important items:

 Shot records must be provided for all kennel and grooming services. Dogs : DHLPP, Rabies, Bordetella (kennel cough) Cats : FVRCP, Rabies
                                                                              The Bordetella vaccine for canines must be current within six months.

Both dogs and cats will be checked and, if necessary, treated for fleas and ticks at an additional charge.
 
For consistency in your pet’s diet, we highly recommend you bring your own food.

Medications/supplements can be administered for an additional charge and must include instructions.
 
“Go Home Grooms” must be scheduled at time of drop-off.
 
Sick/injured, aggressive or extremely timid animals will not be allowed to board at AHKC.

If you are unsure as to how your pet may react in a boarding situation, we encourage you to bring them by in advance so that we can assess their behavior. Other V.I.P.’s (Very Important Policies) are covered in our “ Policies ” section on this web site so please take some time to review these prior to your stay at AHKC.
